I have news about the 2018 Nordstrom Anniversary Catalog! Every year I am dying with anticipation to find out WHEN we will see the catalog and I have it on good authority that it will launch online in a few days on June 25, 2018!

I have just found out that the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale for 2018 will start… (drumroll please…)
The sale will go through August 5. Early access for Nordstrom card holders runs July 12-19 ahead of the official sale start date. Level 4 card holders get a special Anniversary Sale pre-shop date on July 11.
Nordstrom has announced their Black Friday Deal for this year and they are doing an extra 20% off selected sale items. Last year, they ran the same promo and nearly everything was included except for the certain designer labels (mostly the highest end premier designer items).

I *LOVE* this party! It is so fun and as a bonus, you earn 10 points per dollar spent at the party! They serve light hors d’oeuvres, champagne and sparkling water at the party, there are live musicians and in the past I’ve seen a local company that sells merchandise at Nordstrom come and specially screen print shirts at the party.
Invited members will receive a printed invitation which should list the dates for your local party.
Don’t forget to use your personal double points days and alterations benefits before the end of the year, as your balance will reset on January 1st!
In previous years, Nordstrom also had special bonus points events on Cyber Monday: double points for Level 1 members, and 10 points per dollar for Level 2-4. They also did double points for everyone for 3 days starting Christmas Day. I don’t know if they’ll do it this year or not, but if they do, you can be sure I’ll post about it here!
Nordstrom also used to have a special Nordstrom Rack points party in late November where you would earn 10 points per dollar if you spent at least $150. Let’s see if they do it again this year!
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale has officially started! I have noticed that Nordstrom has been trying different things each year to change up the way the sale works. A few years ago they had a bunch of super limited quantity items, this year I didn’t see them label anything as limited quantity, although it seemed like a few things flew off the shelves within the first hours of the sale!
This year it seems like there is less of a focus on luxury items and more of a focus on the midrange price point. I noticed that some of my favorite basic items from years past are either discontinued or not part of the sale, which is a bit disappointing!
In any case, I did get a chance to shop the sale and I have a few favorites to recommend:
I bought the Barefoot Dreams Circle Cardigan cocoa/pearl heather which is a great neutral color. I love how cozy it is. I wish they would size these a little smaller though, because the XS/S is still a little long on my shorter frame.
I am fairly certain that the Zella High Waist Live In Leggings are the same as in years past. I was really worried that they had changed up my perfect leggings.
I love clothing that has an assymetrical twist. I don’t know why but I do. This Caslon assymetric drape jacket is super cute. Apparently it did come in Petite sizing but I must have missed that.
A friend tipped me off on these Vince Camuto Prasata booties and I think they are so cute. They haven’t arrived yet but I’m hoping they fit well! The description says that they are true to size or slightly narrow.
The Betsey Johnson Forever Perfect bra fit really well. I have a small band size and I felt that this was true to size even though the description says to go up a cup size. The push up version did not fit me well.
