Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Black Friday!

Happy Thanksgiving!  I hope you have a wonderful holiday filled with friends and family.  We will be spending our Thanksgiving with close friends this year.

I’ve noticed that the Black Friday deals have already started. It seems like sales are starting earlier and earlier every year.  I haven’t shopped at the mall in years — it is just too crazy — so I’m glad that online deals are just as good.

I’ve been searching for a deal on Adobe Lightroom 6 but so far, no luck.  Here’s where else I’ve been browsing today for Christmas gifts (for myself included!)

Nordstrom Designer Clearance – 40% off Fall/Winter (including some Burberry jackets!)
Land of Nod – 20% off almost everything and free shipping
Gap.com – 50% off everything

Bloomingdales Friends & Family Sale 25% off

Bloomingdales is holding a Friends and Family sale which means 25% off most fashion items and 20% in the home department. I’ve found some incredible deals in the past, like my All-Clad frying pan.

I’m considering getting a new Toaster Oven — this De’Longhi convection toaster oven seems like a great deal, but I need to check the reviews.  The original price is $180, sale price is $59.99 and after the 20% discount it is $48 which is 73% off the regular price.

Target Deals – 30% off Method/7th Gen Cleaning Products and 40% off Halloween Costumes

Two quick Target deals I wanted to post about:

Save 30% on your first Made to Matter Product Subscription – ends 10/17/2015

This includes a variety of products from eco-friendly brands like Method and Seventh Generation.  I ordered a bunch of Method cleaners for my home since I’m running low.  You can easily stop your subscription anytime.

Target Cartwheel has a 40% off Halloween Costume coupon – today only!

Today is a great time to pick up a Halloween costume since they are 40% off!  As we approach Halloween, the deals will dry up (and choices will be more limited) so this is one thing you definitely want to pick up early.  My daughter already decided she wants to be Elsa and we are going to use her dress up costume so she’s all set.  I haven’t decided if I want to wear a costume or not 🙂

Prime Day Fail

Wow, Amazon Prime Day was a total bust!  I didn’t see too many fabulous deals and of the deals I would have purchased, they were gone in 30 seconds!  I did manage to pick up the gift card deal but I haven’t seen the promotional code in my inbox yet, so fingers crossed that worked.  I also got (yet another) pair of Reef flip flops for $9. Love these sandals!  They are the only ones that don’t hurt my feet because the thong part is fabric rather than a thick plastic post.

How was Prime Day for you?  Did you find any good deals?

Amazon Prime Day is July 15th

Amazon is celebrating it’s 20th Anniversary by having a special “Prime Day” special sale on July 15th. I have heard this sale hyped up and even seen ads on TV, but details are a little sparse.

I see a ton of Amazon Lightning deals that are exclusive to Prime members that look interesting, though I wish they had advertised the price as well.

I filtered the Lightning Deals on Toys and got about 100 items.  There are also a ton of baby items, including some Ju Ju Be Hello Kitty print items.  Depending on the discount, I might be convinced that I “need” one of those… 🙂
